Artist's Comments

I also listen to Electronica (electronic, without the last 'a' too, by the way =P). In the style of my previous stamp, I made this one for the people who also like artists like Boards Of Canada, Röyksopp, Moby, Kraftwerk, Orbital, Autechre, and so on. :stereo:

If you love listening to electronic(a), put this piece of code in your journal: :thumb 35074988: . Remove the space, of course. :aww:

Software: The GIMP
Time: 30 minutes

Other stamps:
Alternative
Post-Rock
Post-Punk
Shoegaze

Thanks again to ~pillze69 :iconpillze69: for the sample stamp.

I'm actually listening to a Kraftwerk CD right now :D (8-Bit Operators.) It'll probably be a while until I can get a subscription, so I'll fave this one until then  :+fav:

Ah, Kraftwerk, I should listen to that more I think. I recently really got into Air, do you know them?

And thank you so much for the fave! :thanks:

Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you like my stamps. =D

Oof, kinda hard to describe it in a short way in a comment. But I'll try:

You start by opening the sample stamp you want to use. Then you add new layers as you go along editing the stamp. After you're done editing, save the stamp as an uncompressed XCF for safe keeping (handy if you want to edit it later on.) After that you merge (don't flatten!) all the layers, so you keep the transparency. Then set the colour mode to "indexed", to 256 colours. Finally, save the stamp as a GIF. Now you're done.

Hope this helps, if you need any further help, just ask me. :)
